Suleikha is a solicitor working with Nicola Wainwright in the clinical negligence department.

Suleikha began her training contract at Leigh Day in September 2011 and since then has specialised in serious injury work, arising from road traffic accidents, accidents at work and clinical negligence working on a variety of cases including catastrophic brain and spinal injury , fatal accident, and birth injury claims.

  • Helping to secure an 8-figure sum of compensation for a nine year old girl who suffered severe brain damage during a forceps delivery at West Middlesex Hospital.
  • Obtaining an apology, assurances and compensation following failures in care that led to stillbirth of baby girl
  • Settling a claim on behalf of bereaved parents whose son was stillborn when the mother was not referred to an obstetrician
  • Securing compensation for a man who suffered testicular torsion
  • Acting for the parents of a baby boy who died at Barnet Hospital when abnormalities in his heart rate were missed
  • Settling a claim for a woman who was left incontinent following a negligent episiotomy

Suleikha qualified as a solicitor in September 2013 and now concentrates on claims arising from clinical negligence.

Suleikha assists Nicola Wainwright in a wide range of cases involving clinical negligence, including cases arising from birth injuries affecting mothers and children, meningitis claims  and assisting families who have lost relatives due to negligence in preparing for inquests. Most recently Suleikha has been working on claims arising from brain damage sustained by children at birth and surgical negligence.
