Legal expertise

Jane is passionate about cycling and has used her insight as a cyclist and in depth knowledge of this area of law to specialise in helping people who have been injured whilst riding their bikes.

She is active in her local cycling community in Manchester and is the ride leader coordinator for Team Glow, which is a network for women cyclists in the North West; encouraging and supporting women in their cycling goals. She also gives her time and voice to local cycling campaigns to improve cycling for everyone in Manchester.

Her main goal at the outset of any claim is to assist her clients in getting back on their bikes; whether that be with accessing the appropriate rehabilitation for their physical injuries, arranging for the bike and accessories to be repaired or replaced as soon as possible, or, accessing psychological support for those that have lost confidence in cycling after a collision. She recognises that, for many, cycling is more than just a means of transport and she works hard to ensure that her clients do not lose this important part of their lives.

She has acted for cyclists injured in a range of different types of accidents, such as, collisions with vehicles or potholes, crashes caused by ice on the road, or injury caused by failure of the bicycle.

What our clients say

I contacted LD after a cycle accident where a car turned in front of me. I discovered that they were the go-to solicitors for bike accidents. Jane, my solicitor, was fantastic and super supportive throughout. Highly recommend them!
