Eve Drummond
Paralegal
Eve is a Court of Protection paralegal
I joined Leigh Day as a litigation assistant in August 2021, assisting senior solicitors in the Asbestos department with complex personal injury claims arising from exposure to asbestos.
I then joined the Court of Protection department in June 2022 as a paralegal, working alongside Amy Chater, specialising in Court of Protection property and finance deputyships.
I have previous experience working with people who lack mental capacity from working in a mental health facility. I have supported vulnerable clients during my time as a Witness Service Volunteer. I am passionate about providing the best service to our clients through my wealth of knowledge on the topic.
Education
Before joining Leigh Day, I studied History and Philosophy at the University of Birmingham, graduating in 2019. Following this, I completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Law at BPP University in 2021.
I have taken part in many charity events at Leigh Day, including raising money for Mesothelioma UK by walking 20 miles along the Thames Path. I also participated in the London Legal Walk and have helped to organise other charity events with the asbestos team.
