Team Co-ordinator – Employment

Leigh Day is seeking a Team Co-ordinator to assist 2 Solicitors and their team within the Employment Department.

Key Tasks and responsibilities
Managing the non-legal work of the supervising the Solicitors and team, by facilitating the delivery of fee-earning work, including organising the team’s electronic and paper case files, overseeing the diaries of team members, drafting documents, liaising with clients, experts, counsel, and providing general administrative support.

This role would be ideal for someone who enjoys supporting busy teams and has experience of effectively dealing with confidential information and sensitive situations. However, it is a support role and may not be suitable for someone looking to develop a career as a legal professional.

To be successful you must have
• Demonstrable experience working in an administrative role and supporting a team.
• Proven ability to communicate accurately, clearly and concisely with a wide range of stakeholders and clients.
• A high level of IT proficiency, especially with word and excel skills and experience working with databases.
• Proven ability to organise and prioritise complex workloads and work to tight deadlines.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Manchester.

Administrative Assistant – Consumer Law and Product Safety

Leigh Day is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join its highly acclaimed Consumer Law and Product Safety Department.

Main Duties and responsibilities;
The role will be supporting the team with legal administrative tasks. Responsibilities will include paper and electronic filing; photocopying, scanning, archiving, updating records and databases and providing general administrative support.
 
To be successful you should have;
• Demonstrable experience working in a professional environment would be highly advantageous. Any experience of working within the legal sector is desirable.
• Commitment to providing first class support to the wider legal team and to our clients.
• Proven ability of using initiative, being proactive and hard-working.
• Excellent literacy skills and computer-literate (you must be a competent user of Microsoft Excel).
• Accounting/Book keeping skills is desirable.
• A positive attitude that is eager to work within an award winning, highly reputable law firm.

This is a Permanent, full-time position based in London.
