  • Secretary – Personal Injury Department, Manchester, Ref: SEC/PI/KJ/FEB17

    Leigh Day is urgently seeking a Secretary to assist within the Personal Injury department. The role holder will provide secretarial support to Partners and their Asbestos team. Relevant secretarial experience within personal injury and / or, asbestos litigation will be highly advantageous.

    Key responsibilities will include producing accurate documents from dictation, drafting letters and emails, effective utilising of case management system and various other general administrative support within a very busy, fast paced environment.

    The successful applicant must be reliable, flexible, organised and have fast and accurate audio and copy typing skills (approx. 70wpm). The ideal candidate will be computer literate with up-to-date Word and Excel skills, possess excellent standard of spoken and written English. S/he should be able to produce work accurately, promptly and efficiently and work with initiative whilst maintaining a responsible approach. S/he must have good attendance and timekeeping skills.
