Administrative Assistant – Employment

Leigh Day’s award winning Employment Department is seeking to hire an Administrative Assistant in Manchester. This is a busy and interesting role and the successful candidate will be assisting Solicitors and Paralegals with a wide variety of legal administrative tasks.

Working within the award-winning Employment Team, your role will be to provide legal administrative support to the team and fee earning staff, being responsible for various day-to-day administrative tasks.

Key tasks and responsibilities;
-
The role will involve will involve supporting solicitors and partners with general administrative tasks including electronic and paper filing, photocopying and updating databases.
- You will be the key point of contact for general administrative queries.

To be successful you must have:
- Demonstrable experience of undertaking general administrative tasks within a busy office environment, whilst effectively providing first class support.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in order to assist clients and colleagues in an efficient manner.
- Prior demonstrable experience of using Microsoft Office and Excel competently.

This is a 12 months fixed term, permanent position based in Manchester.
