Nick Queffurus


Nick is a paralegal working on emissions claims

Nick is a paralegal in the emissions team.

Nick joined the emissions team in the international department in September 2021, having previously assisted the professional ethics & compliance team from March 2021.

He works in Benjamin Croft’s team. His area of focus currently is corporate accountability.

Previous experience

Before joining Leigh Day, Nick worked as a researcher at Leeds University Law School with two professors on a project about Facebook’s content moderation and international law on freedom of expression. In legal practice, Nick has worked in shipping and family teams at two City law firms.

He has volunteered at a migrant domestic worker NGO in Kensington, as well as carrying out pro bono work in his past employment and education.


After taking a first-class law degree at Bristol University, Nick completed the MSc in African Studies at Oxford, for which he carried out fieldwork in Kenya while researching the role of data analytics companies in recent Kenyan elections. During his LLB, Nick spent a year studying French law in Bordeaux, consolidating his strong level of fluency in French.
