Josephine is a solicitor apprentice in the medical negligence department

Josephine is a solicitor apprentice in the clinical negligence department under the supervision of Angharad Vaughan.

Josephine assists Angharad on a variety of complex clinical negligence cases involving delays and failures in diagnosis, orthopaedic injuries, obstetric injuries to mothers and babies, brain and spinal injuries and fatal cases.

Upon completion of her apprenticeship, Josephine will have achieved both her LLB law degree and Solicitors Qualifying Exam. After completing work experience with solicitors specialising in medical negligence and a mini-pupillage at a leading barristers chambers, Josephine decided she wanted to become a solicitor.

Before joining Leigh Day’s apprenticeship scheme in January 2020, she completed her A-levels in English Literature, Government and Politics and History and attended university full-time whilst working part-time in the NHS.
