Witness appeal for information about alleged abuse by priest and teacher at schools in Bournemouth and Ipswich
Leigh Day abuse claims partner Dino Nocivelli is appealing for witnesses to assist with his investigation into alleged abuse by late priest, housemaster and teacher Brother Kevin Dillon, who worked at schools in Bournemouth and Ipswich before his death.

Brother Kevin, who was a member of the De La Salle sect of the Catholic Church, worked at St Peter’s School in Bournemouth before moving to Oakhill Primary School and St Joseph’s College, both in Ipswich.
All three belong to a global network of schools affiliated with the De La Salle Brothers religious teaching order.
An individual has recently contacted Leigh Day to ask for help in bringing a claim over allegations of abuse by Brother Kevin while he was a teacher and housemaster during the 1980s. A number of other individuals have also shared similar stories of alleged abuse by Brother Kevin at the three schools.
It is understood that two separate police forces attempted to investigate the allegations but were unable to proceed due to Brother Kevin’s advanced dementia and subsequent death.
Leigh Day partner Dino Nocivelli said:
“After receiving instruction from someone allegedly abused by Brother Kevin, we are appealing for information from witnesses about the alleged abuse. I have already spoken to individuals who have also made allegations of abuse at St Peter’s School, Oakhill Primary School and St Joseph’s College, and hope to support my client’s claims further by hearing from more witnesses and gathering as much evidence as possible.”
