Former vicar of Cottingham charged with sex offences
Canon Terence Grigg has appeared in court to face child sex abuse charges

83 year old Terence Grigg appeared at Beverley Magistrates’ Court on 31 May and was charged with nine offences of indecent assault and two serious sexual assaults against five victims.
The alleged offences took place between 1973 and 1996 at locations in Hull, East Yorkshire, Devon and London.
Grigg used to be a minister at St Mary’s Church in Cottingham, East Yorkshire where he worked for 20 years.
He was released on bail and will appear at Hull Crown Court on 28 June.
