Leigh Day is investigating claims on behalf of owners of particular models of vehicles, from the following manufacturers:

  • Porsche
  • Audi
  • Volkswagen
  • SEAT
  • Skoda

These claims are being investigated on behalf of people who leased or owned these vehicles. The claims could be worth up to 75% of the purchase price of the vehicle for each driver.

To find out whether your vehicle is affected then click the button below to use our registration number eligibility checker, and join this potential group action.

You could be entitled to compensation if you leased or bought an affected vehicle.

What is the emissions claim?

We believe that owners of the affected vehicles should be compensated because they were mis-sold these vehicles. The manufacturers advertised the vehicles as being compliant with the law and more environmentally friendly with lower NOx emissions, which was not true. Increased NOx emissions are damaging to public health and the environment.

We are committed to achieving justice for all, including full, fair compensation, by providing first-rate legal advice.

This is the second major emissions case that Leigh Day has taken against the German car giant. Leigh Day is the joint-lead law firm in the existing emissions litigation on behalf of UK Volkswagen owners, and in April 2020, we won the first round of that case against Volkswagen in the UK High Court.

Leigh Day is one of the country's leading law firms, and is not a claims management company, we are the lawyers who take these matters to Court. Bringing group actions on behalf of consumers is one of Leigh Day's key areas of specialism, and we have been involved in many of the most important and cutting-edge group actions brought in the UK. Our expertise in holding corporations to account is unrivalled.

We have recently issued proceedings against Mercedes-Benz following allegations of emissions cheating, and we are also investigating a group claim against Nissan and Renault arising from similar allegations.
