What our clients say
Without you and your firm they would absolutely get away with it and I thank you so much. You have been brilliant. I really do appreciate everything from you.

A number of Zayna’s key successes at Leigh Day include:
- Assisting with the representation of Islington Survivors Network and in acting on behalf of a number of individuals in civil compensation claims against the London Borough of Islington for abuse that they were subjected to in placements arranged by the Local Authority. Compensation has been successfully obtained for a number of these survivors.
- Obtaining compensation for abuse survivors under the Lambeth Children's Homes Redress Scheme which concluded in January 2022, including on behalf of protected parties who lack capacity. Zayna also worked on a case which was taken through the appeals process and in which the client achieved a considerably better financial outcome than the offer proposed by the council.
- Acting in a number of group claims, including for former pupils of Royal Alexandra and Albert School, Queen Mary’s School and Swaylands School.
Zayna graduated with a First Class LLB in 2019 and joined Leigh Day shortly after.
