Lili worked on claims brought by over 13,000 individuals from the Bille and Ogale communities in the Niger Delta in a case against Shell. The claimants allege that their environment has been devastated by oil pollution.

She also assists with the Volvo emissions claim. Leigh Day is currently bringing claims against several vehicle manufacturers following allegations that diesel vehicles had been fitted with ‘defeat’ devices which allowed manufacturers to cheat emissions tests.

Prior to joining Leigh Day, Lili volunteered for the access to justice NGOs Citizens Advice and Global Brigades Panama. She completed her LLB in Law with European Legal Studies at King’s College London, where she was a student researcher on a project concerning freedom of speech in international law. Lili also has experience working on advisory proceedings at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.
