Teacher pensions

We are bringing claims on behalf of teachers for age discrimination in response to changes made by the Government to their pensions in April 2015.

The changes were introduced in such a way as to protect older teachers by allowing them to stay in their current pension scheme, whilst teachers born after a certain date were ejected from those schemes. Those changes will have a substantial negative impact on the value of pension benefits on retirement.

We are also bringing claims of race discrimination and equal pay on behalf of teachers from ethnic minorities and female teachers, who we believe are disproportionately affected by the changes.
