Ross has acted for injured claimants in a wide range of cases involving accidents in the workplace, accidents in public places, accidents resulting from defective products, accidents aboard aircraft, accidents on holiday, road traffic accidents, criminal injury and occupational assault claims.
Ross joined the Manchester office of Leigh Day in 2015 to lead a team dealing with personal injury claims on behalf of Trade Union members.
- Lee v Westminster City Council: Mr Lee received £23,400 for the fractured hand, broken teeth, laceration to his lip and soft tissue injuries sustained when he cycled over a sunken manhole cover in November 2016.
- Reindl v Roberts: Ms Reindl received £46,500 for the fractures to the shoulder and pelvis and the mild brain injury sustained in a road traffic accident in October 2018. .
- Anthony Yeats v Craig Adams: Anthony Yeats received £46,875 for the multiple injuries, including to the head and neck, he sustained in a road traffic accident in January 2015. He developed tinnitus and an adjustment disorder involving memory loss, a change in personality and poor concentration.
- Gemma Clare v Virgin Active UK Ltd 2017: Gemma Clare received £30,000 for the physical and psychological injuries she suffered when a ceiling at a gym collapsed on her in April 2014. All injuries were expected to resolve between 12 and 18 months from the date of the accident.
- Joe McGrath v Bryana Aimable-Lina 2017: The claimant, a 38-year-old man, received £16,500 for the multiple injuries he sustained in a road traffic accident in October 2015. One injury accelerated the onset of symptoms of a pre-existing degenerative bilateral hip condition by five years.
- Hayley Berington v Andrew McNeish 2017: The claimant, a 33-year-old woman, received £23,800 for the fractured elbow, laceration to the eye and soft tissue injuries she sustained in a road traffic accident in July 2015. She was left with a permanent loss of between 3 and 5 per cent of elbow function and scarring on the elbow and the eye.
