Romany is a paralegal in the abuse team

Abuse claims

Romany is a paralegal in the human rights department’s abuse team.

Assisting Dino Nocivelli, she works for survivors of child abuse in civil claims for compensation. The team has a particular focus on abuse in sport, private schools and religious institutions.

Before joining Leigh Day, Romany worked at a Law Centre and has volunteered with various organisations supporting EU citizens and refugees with their immigration applications.

Education

Romany graduated with a First in Politics from the University of Sheffield in 2017 and gained a Higher Education Post-Graduate Scholarship to study for the Graduate Diploma in Law in 2019. Romany completed her LPC part-time and obtained a Distinction in 2021.

Memberships

Romany is an active member of Leigh Day's LGBTQ+ Committee.
