About Leigh Day
We are a top 100 law firm committed to claimant-only cases, ensuring that individuals have the same access to justice as the UK Government and large corporations. We’re not afraid to take on difficult and challenging cases involving medical negligence, serious personal injuries, discrimination in the workplace, defective products and human rights abuses in this country and overseas.
About the team
Our International team specialises in international cases involving multinational corporations where environmental harm or human rights abuses have been alleged. Notable cases include representing around 2,000 Malawian tobacco farmers and their children in a claim against British American Tobacco Plc in respect of claims of forced and child labour on farms allegedly supplying tobacco to the company. We also act on behalf of whistleblowers who have sought to expose wrongdoing and corruption overseas.
About the role
We have an opportunity for a paralegal to join the team to support our claimants and lawyers with our landmark, International cases. The successful candidate will assist with all aspects of litigation, including liaising with clients, and provide administrative support to the team. The role will require regular overseas travel.
