Team Co-ordinator – Human Rights Department

Leigh Day is seeking a Team Co-ordinator to assist a Partner and the team within the Human Rights Department. 
 
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
The role involves proactively taking control of, and managing all the non-legal work of the team in general and the supervising Partner specifically. The role holder will facilitate the efficient delivery of its legal fee earning work, including the organisation of the team’s electronic and paper case files, overseeing the diaries of team members, drafting documents, preparing case bundles, liaising with clients and stakeholders both internal and external and generally providing organisational and administrative support. 
 
To be successful you must have:
Previous relevant experience of working in an administrative and / or secretarial support role within a busy team.
The ability to be conscientious and extremely well organised with excellent IT skills.
Excellent literacy and communication skills along with the ability to deal sensitively and professionally with clients.
The ability to be hard-working, proactive and able to use initiative. 
Be committed to maintaining the highest levels of integrity and professional conduct.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in London although we would also welcome part time applications (4 days per week).

Team Co-ordinator – Personal Injury

Leigh Day is seeking a Team Co-ordinator to assist an Associate Solicitor and their team within the Personal Injury Department.

Key Tasks and responsibilities
Managing the non-legal work of the supervising Solicitor and their team and facilitating the delivery of fee-earning work, including organising the team’s electronic and paper case files, overseeing the diaries of team members, drafting documents, liaising with clients, experts, counsel, and providing general administrative support.
This role would be ideal for someone who enjoys supporting busy teams and has experience of effectively dealing with confidential information and sensitive situations. However, it is a support role and may not be suitable for someone looking to develop a career as a legal professional.

To be successful you must have
• Demonstrable experience working in an administrative role and supporting a team within a legal environment (or equivalent).
• Proven ability to communicate accurately, clearly and concisely with a wide range of stakeholders and clients.
• A high level of IT proficiency, especially with word and excel skills and experience working with databases.
• Proven ability to organise and prioritise complex workloads and work to tight deadlines.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in London.
