Paralegal – Personal Injury Department

Leigh Day is currently seeking a Paralegal to join the Personal Injury Department. This role offers a great opportunity to build a career within an established and highly reputable law firm.

Key Tasks and responsibilities will include:
• Gathering information from prospective clients and providing advice regarding funding and the legal process.
• Utilising the Case Management System to ensure tasks are processed to the client’s satisfaction as swiftly as possible.
• Assist with drafting documents, client liaison, research work, general correspondence and administrative support.
• Preparing court and other documents for the approval for the approval of the fee earner.

To be successful you must have:
• Relevant paralegal experience in Personal Injury. Experience in dealing with Travel Litigation is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrable ability in meeting/interviewing clients, taking witness statements, dealing sensitively and managing difficult situations and conversations.
• Proven ability to work and contribute in a team environment.
• Proven ability to be self-sufficient in relation to administration, typing and IT requirements.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Manchester.
