Leigh Day's Manchester office

The Leigh Day Manchester office opened in 2014 to bring the firm’s renowned expertise in handling claimant personal injury and medical negligence work to the north-west. Our Manchester team is led by Andrew Bradley and handles a range of clinical negligence, personal injury, asbestos disease claims and employment work.

The team handles claims for injured cyclists having for several years exclusively provided legal support to injured members of British Cycling and the British Triathlon Federation.

Partner Clare Campbell handles cases on behalf of clients who have been injured or contracted illnesses whilst on holiday. Solicitor Ross Whalley handles personal injury claims on behalf of trade union members, including accident at work claims.

Partner Helen Ashton focuses exclusively on asbestos and mesothelioma claims.   Helen has specialised in this area of law since 2003.

Medical negligence partner Stephen Jones leads the medical negligence team in Manchester.  He has extensive experience in all clinical negligence claims having specialised in this area of law since 1986. He is an accredited member of the Law Society's clinical negligence panel, and the AvMA panel. Medical negligence solicitor Jessica Holt is also based in the Manchester office.

The employment team includes solicitors Lauren LougheedMike Cain, Linda Wong and Ryan Bradshaw who are handling a number of group claims on behalf of employees, particularly equal pay claims, as well as acting for individuals.
