Raising money for charity

Leigh Day is a leading law firm specialising in personal injury, clinical negligence and human rights. Our ethos is to offer individuals the same excellent legal representation as state bodies and corporations. We believe in a fair society where everyone has access to justice.

Our photographic competition is one of our 25th Anniversary activities that we are organising to raise money for the following charities:

Cancer Research aims to save lives through funding world-class research, providing information, and influencing public policy to keep cancer at the top of the health agenda.

Canon Collins Educational & Legal Assistance Trust provides scholarships in conjunction with the University of the Western Cape to enable a number of disadvantaged students to study law in South Africa and cover their university fees.

The Daneford Trust
is a small grassroots youth project which assists young adults in the inner city areas of London to participate in international, cultural, educational and voluntary work exchanges, in London and overseas.

Headway East London
- is a day centre in Hackney, London which specialises in creating personalised support services and programmes for people with an acquired brain injury.

The Home Trust is an educational trust in the remote Dol Dol area of northern Kenya. In partnership with Leigh Day, more than 70 children now receive full educational sponsorship.

To raise money for these charities, we will be running a closed bid auction for the exhibition photographs and producing a customised notebook for sale of all the winners and runners up photographs.
