Ella Cornish


Ella is a trainee in the international department

Ella (pronouns she/her) is a trainee in her second seat, assisting Oliver Holland in the international department.

Ella assists with a wide range of cases. She is mostly involved in cases against multinational corporations involving allegations of human rights abuses in foreign jurisdictions. She also assists with cases on behalf of Bahraini and Saudi activists who have allegedly been targeted with spyware.

Ella completed her first seat in the medical negligence department, as part of Sanja Strkljevic and Despina Kavadas’ team. She assisted in claims involving birth injuries, delays in diagnosis and injuries sustained during surgery.

Ella joined the firm in September 2020. She previously worked in-house for a large NHS trust, where she gained experience in medical negligence, personal injury, and inquests.


Ella has a LLB in Law from King’s College London and achieved a distinction her LPC from the University of Law.
