Bryony is an associate solicitor in the medical negligence team of Leigh Day’s Manchester office.

Bryony has managed a varied caseload working across a wide range of claims and assists others on serious injury cases.
She has particular experience in fatal cases and represents families at inquest where there are concerns in relation to medical treatment. Bryony has assisted clients in investigating concerns in relation to GP care, delays in diagnosing cancer and lymphoma, gynaecological treatment and surgery and complex orthopaedic treatment. She has negotiated substantial compensation payments for clients who have suffered a wide range of injuries, including stillbirth and neonatal injuries, avoidable amputations and delayed diagnosis and treatment.
Bryony has represented:
- The family of a woman who died by suicide after failures following inpatient mental health treatment.
- The family of a man who suffered a below knee amputation after failures to appropriately manage an ankle fracture.
- A woman who underwent an avoidable hysterectomy, after failures to appropriately consent to patient to treatment options to manage fibroids.
- The parents of a two year old girl who died after a delay in providing antibiotic treatment for suspected Strep A.
- A man who developed an avoidable cancer after GP failures to investigate a swollen parotid gland.
- A woman who suffered neurological injuries after a failure to diagnose and treat Cauda Equina Syndrome.
Bryony joined Leigh Day in May 2025 from JMW, where she had qualified in 2017. Bryony previously worked at Pannone and has specialised in medical negligence since the start of her career.
Bryony gained her law degree at The University of Manchester and studied medical law and ethics and mental health law.
