Bentham PFAS Claims Joint Statement

During the course of 2024/2025, Leigh Day provided legal representation to one household in Duke Street, Bentham, whose property may have been impacted by PFAS present on the Angus Fire site. Following an initial voluntary and good faith proposal made by Angus Fire, the matter was settled through pre-action correspondence to the mutual satisfaction of all parties. For the avoidance of doubt, no admission of liability was made by Angus Fire Limited, nor any of its affiliates, in relation to this matter.
