White goods manufacturer Indesit has issued a safety notice in respect of a number of gas cookers sold in the United Kingdom between October and November 2013.
The notice warns of a potential component failure which may lead to a gas leak causing a potential
fire hazard.
Whilst a large proportion of the affected cookers have been identified, the whereabouts of a number of these still remains unknown.
If you think you may own one of the affected cookers, you can check the list of model numbers affected on the
Indesit website. If your model is affected, the advice is to avoid using the cooker while you wait for an engineer’s visit.
