Nadine assists Sanja Strkljevic on a wide range of cases, with a focus on obstetric injuries, brain and spinal injuries and amputation claims. She also assists Sanja with cases involving fatalities and has experience with representing bereaved families in inquests, including complex Article 2 inquests

Previous experience

Prior to working at Leigh Day, Nadine worked for nearly 8 years at a well-known litigation firm where she spent around 6 years of this time in their medical negligence department, a year in the Court of Protection department, as well as time during her training contract in the human rights department. In her previous role, Nadine had a wide-ranging medical negligence caseload involving delay in diagnoses, orthopaedic injuries, surgical injuries, obstetric injuries and stillbirths, cases involving fatalities, which included representing the families at inquests, and psychiatric claims.

Education

Nadine obtained a degree in Law from the University of Birmingham. She then completed the Legal Practice Course in 2020, graduating with a Distinction.
