Louisa is a paralegal in the medical negligence department

Louisa joined Leigh Day in October 2019 as a paralegal in Angharad Vaughan’s team in the clinical negligence department, acting on behalf of patients and their families in cases involving negligent medical care.

Louisa works alongside Angharad across a variety of complex clinical negligence cases involving: neurological injuries, orthopaedic injuries; fatal accident claims; delays in diagnosis; and obstetric cases, including acting for mothers and babies who have sustained injury during childbirth.

Louisa also works on cases representing families at inquests following the death of a family member in a hospital setting.

Education

Louisa read Theatre and Performance at the University of Leeds, graduating with a First Class Honours degree in 2018 before undertaking the Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP Law School,  graduating in 2019 with a Distinction.
