Annie is a solicitor in the employment and discrimination team.
Annie advises clients on a wide range of issues and has worked on the following types of cases:
- Discrimination relating to disability, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion and belief, sexual orientation and sex;
- Unfair and wrongful dismissal;
- Claims relating to employment status;
- Holiday pay;
- Unlawful deductions from wages.
Annie carries out her own advocacy at preliminary hearings in the Employment Tribunal and regularly secures substantial settlements for her clients.
Prior to joining Leigh Day, Annie worked at a law centre where she was responsible for running cases from the first advice session through to final hearing.
Annie trained at a City law firm, qualifying as a solicitor in 2011.
