Paralegal

  • Paralegal – Consumer Law and Product Safety, IGC Department, Ref: PARA/PL/BOZ/FEB17

    Leigh Day is urgently seeking Four Paralegals to join its highly acclaimed Consumer Law and Product Safety team. The roles will be assisting the Partner and team with a caseload of high value complex claims. Responsibilities will include drafting documents, producing general correspondence, liaising with clients and third parties, undertaking legal and other research and providing general administrative support.

    Experience in supporting large or multiple claims as an Assistant or Paralegal will be highly advantageous. Any experience of working within personal injury, medical negligence, consumer law is desirable but not essential. Experience in dealing with group claims is also highly desirable.  What is essential is a commitment to providing first class support to the wider legal team and to our clients. Candidates should be able to deal with clients in an appropriate manner. We are looking for hard-working, proactive individuals who are able to use their initiative and are computer-literate with excellent literacy skills. A positive attitude and an active interest in this area of law are essential. The role will ideally suit highly motivated and driven candidates with a legal background who are eager to build a career within an award winning, highly reputable law firm
