Paralegal – Business Services (New Client Team)

We are seeking to appoint a Paralegal in our New Client Team based in Manchester. This is a new role and an excellent opportunity to be responsible for the initial calls to new clients and gathering information to ensure the claim is submitted efficiently.

Key tasks and responsibilities;
• To contact new and prospective clients to obtain information regarding their claim.
• To accurately and succinctly summarise the information obtained to ensure that the claim is passed over to the relevant handler.
• To manage new enquiries until such time as they are converted to live cases or rejected, working with the relevant departments as necessary
• Ensure accurate records are maintained on the firm’s Case Management System.
• To provide a reliable and efficient support service to colleagues and to assist with the general administration of case loads.

To be successful you must have; 
• A genuine interest to work with a leading claimant law firm and passionate about providing access to justice to all.
• An excellent telephone manner
• High level written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrable understanding of and commitment to client care.
• Ability to manage own workload in a busy environment to a consistently high standard.
• Resilient and able to deal with challenging situations.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may be subject to change at short notice.
