Anna Brothers's Profile Picture

Anna studied law at Queen’s University in Belfast and qualified as a solicitor in 2008 having gained experience of mental health, prison and public law.  Upon qualification, Anna joined the clinical negligence department at Leigh Day working as an assistant solicitor to Russell Levy, the former head of the clinical negligence department.  

Anna now runs her own varied caseload acting only on behalf of claimants, advising on a full range of complex claims including obstetric, spinal, ophthalmic, orthopaedic, cancer, fatal accidents and child and adult brain injury. 

In the past year Anna has settled numerous high value challenging cases. Anna has also assisted clients with: Mental Health Review Tribunals, Inquests and Hospital and GMC complaints.   Anna is appreciated by clients for her empathetic and sensitive attitude and has been praised for her clear advice and thorough approach to cases.

Anna works with patient-led charities: Tackle Prostate Cancer and the Silverlining Brain Injury charity on awareness and fund-raising projects.
