Suha Lewis

Suha is a senior associate solicitor in the international and group claims department, specialising in international claims and group actions.

Suha currently works with Gene Matthews on a number of claims arising out of Iraq following the occupation of Basra by British Forces in 2003.

Since joining Leigh Day in April 2010, Suha represented a number of Iraqi citizens bringing claims against the British Ministry of Defence for alleged torture, inhuman and degrading treatment, unlawful assaults and negligence.

Suha previously worked at the Pro-Bono Centre, College of Law, where she specialised in housing law and was a duty solicitor at Lambeth County court.
