Sophie is an associate and chartered legal executive working in the employment and discrimination department, with a particular focus on equal pay claims.
Sophie joined Leigh Day in August 2014 and works in the Manchester office. She works with Lauren Lougheed on a large multi-party equal pay case. She also supervises a team of paralegals and administration assistants working on the case.
Legal expertise
Sophie has significant experience working on high profile group claims. She is currently helping over 45,000 supermarket employees bring claims for equal pay in the employment tribunal.
Education
Sophie obtained a degree in Law from Newcastle University in 2014 and qualified as a chartered legal executive (FCILEx) in 2021.

Sophie is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
