Matt is a solicitor in the employment and discrimination department.
Matt graduated from Nottingham Law School in 2017 and joined Leigh Day upon gaining qualification in October 2021. Matt carried out his training contract in a specialist employer support setting in which he gained a very wide range of experience across the full spectrum of employment law matters. This included carrying out advocacy in the Employment Tribunal and providing advice to employers on HR matters through to and including the negotiation of settlement terms on exit for staff.
Matt’s present case load involves a wide range claims for discrimination under the Equality Act as well as claims in unfair dismissal for claimants in a diverse range of work settings in the private and public sector. He is also increasingly involved in providing strategic advice and representation to senior executive clients in the context of their exit from employment.
Matt is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
