Gesa is a solicitor in the international and group litigation department, currently assisting the team acting on behalf of vehicle owners affected by the “Dieselgate” emissions scandal.

Gesa has a background in commercial litigation and investigations, specialising in complex and high-value civil disputes and criminal and regulatory investigations.

Previous experience

Before joining Leigh Day in June 2022, Gesa trained at a corporate law firm where she qualified in September 2020. At her previous firm, Gesa advised commercial clients on complex and high-value civil and criminal disputes, including a multi-party claim, a claim brought by the FCA, and a fraud case, as well as regulatory and internal investigations. Gesa also has experience advising clients in relation to anti-money laundering and the Bribery Act.

Education

Gesa graduated from Aberystwyth University in 2014 with a first-class degree in Law and holds an LLM from UCL.
