Clara is a paralegal in the Human Rights Department, working within Anna Moore's team. 

Clara's work largely consists of advocating for care-experienced individuals, focusing on Human Rights Act claims against local authorities. Her clientele includes vulnerable children, represented through the Official Solicitor, and young adults who instruct her team directly. This work is all about obtaining redress for those who have been failed by the systems meant to protect them. 

Additionally, Clara is actively involved in judicial reviews, inquests and related civil claims and Court of Protection proceedings.

Further experience

Clara began her legal career with Creighton & Partners Solicitors, representing parents and children through their Child Guardian in care proceedings, Public Law Outline (PLO), Special Guardianship, and Deprivation of Liberty (DOLs) cases.  She is also a member of the Steering Committee of Lawyers Who Care, promoting the success of care-experienced aspiring lawyers, and a Schemes Officer for Bringing Disability to the Bar, organising initiatives to improve accessibility for disabled aspiring barristers.
