Bethany Greenwood

Senior associate solicitor

Bethany is a senior associate in the personal injury department

Brain injury Personal injury Road traffic collisions

I am a senior associate in the serious injury team in Leeds.

I specialise in high value catastrophic injury claims including brain, spinal and other life changing injuries.

Legal expertise

I joined Leigh Day in January 2024. Prior to this, I worked in the neurotrauma team at Irwin Mitchell for seven years where I ran and assisted partners with a range of high value, complex brain injury and catastrophic injury cases. I have represented adults and children in both litigated and non-litigated cases.

I am passionate about getting to know my clients as individuals and supporting them and their families through what is often complex litigation. I proactively manage my cases to secure good quality rehabilitation for my clients as soon as possible to maximise their chances of regaining a good quality of life.

I have been actively involved in supporting Headway for several years, most recently as a committee member of Headway Harrogate.

Outside work I enjoy being Mum to two daughters and seeing the world through their eyes! I also enjoy good coffee, travel and I am a recent Pilates convert!

Education

I graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2009 where I completed my LLB (Hons) before completing my LPC at the College of Law in York. From September 2010 I completed my training contract at Thompsons Solicitors qualifying into their personal injury team in September 2012.
