Claire Spearpoint is a solicitor working with Daniel Easton in the Personal Injury Department. Claire qualified in September 2011, having joined Leigh Day in September 2009 as a trainee.
Claire specialises in industrial disease cases particularly those involving asbestos exposure which have resulted in an asbestos-related injury, such as mesothelioma, asbestosis, lung cancer and pleural thickening.
Claire also deals with other personal injury claims including occupational cancers, fatal cases and complex road traffic accidents.
Before joining Leigh Day, Claire worked at Stewarts Law LLP, assisting in severe brain, spinal cord, amputee and fatal accident claims, including accidents abroad involving jurisdictional issues.
Claire graduated in Law at Kent University, and has recently completed an LLM in Human Rights.
Claire is a member of APIL, and is accredited as an APIL Litigator.
