Newspage Hospital apologises for baby’s death
The parents of a baby, who died at 8 days old as a result of substandard care, have obtained an apology and compensation from the Trust responsible for North Middlesex Hospital. The parents were represented by Leigh Day & Co’s specialist clinical negligence solicitor, Nicola Wainwright.
Newspage Hip case referred to Europe by Court of Appeal
The Court of Appeal has referred Mrs Watts hip case to the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg to decide whether the NHS should have to pay for medical treatment abroad. Human Rights partner, Richard Stein, is her lawyer.

The parents of Thomas Egan, who died of a milk allergy while in the care of Jigsaw Day Nursery, have agreed compensation for his death. They were represented by specialist solicitor Nicola Wainwright.
Newspage Success for learning disabled adults abused in care as children
Adults with learning disabilities and little or no communication skills, who were abused 20 years ago, have been awarded damages and a commitment by the local authority to provide them with psychotherapy over a 3 year period as part of their compensation.
