Brain injury claims lawyers Leigh Day & Co will be joining in with brain injury charity
Headway’s Hats for Headway Day on Friday 18th May when the firm will be raising money for the charity.
The theme of this year’s action week is to highlight the issues surrounding caring for someone with a brain injury. Many of the brain-injured clients that Leigh Day represent have been left with catastrophic and life-changing injuries which bring huge challenges to their families, friends and people who care for them. Often families will suffer loss of income if the brain-injured person is the main earner, homes might have to be adapted to cope with the physical demands of caring, and emotional and behavioural changes in brain-injured people can cause emotional strains in relationships.
Headway offers practice support to carers looking after brain-injured people and Leigh Day is delighted to be able to support the charity’s work.
