The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has drawn consumers’ attention to the
recall of 277 multipacks of Tropicana Kids orange juice which have been affected by 'microbiological contamination' during test procedure and should not be used.
PepsiCo is recalling the drinks as they contain only water, rather than the orange juice blend. The water in these packs is of an unsatisfactory quality due to microbiological contamination.
The FSA said the affected cartons could be distinguished by a lack of batch or date codes, either on the exterior or interior of the packaging. Customers who have bought the affected cartons can call the freephone helpline 0800 032 4460 for a full refund.
