Legal Secretary – Clinical Negligence Department – Ref: LS/CN/SJN
We are currently seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join our Clinical Negligence department. This is a part-time position to support a jobshare and the successful candidate will be working on a one week on/ one week off basis.

The successful candidate will hold a responsible position providing secretarial and litigation support to two Solicitors alongside another secretary. The role involves typing documents (digital and copy), filing, managing diaries, dealing with clients, experts, counsel and other solicitors, preparing and checking bundles and dealing with other general administrative tasks.
Given the jobshare nature of the role it is essential for applicants to be highly organised and possess excellent communication skills together with relevant legal experience. Candidates should be reliable, organised and have fast and accurate typing skills together with excellent admin skills. The ideal candidate will be computer literate with up-to-date word and excel skills, together with good standard of spoken and written English. Candidates should be able to show initiative and have a positive “can do” attitude. Candidates should be able to deal with clients in a sympathetic and compassionate manner. Also, a proven commitment to the type of work we do would be an advantage.

Salary: Competitive
