We are a top 100 law firm committed to claimant-only cases, ensuring that individuals have the same access to justice as the UK Government and large corporations. We’re not afraid to take on difficult and challenging cases involving environmental pollution and human rights abuses  in this country and overseas.

About the team
The successful candidate will join a highly experienced team led by Daniel Leader (Partner) and David Roberts (Senior Associate Solicitor) that specialises in Corporate Accountability claims in our International & Group Litigation Department. Examples of notable claims successfully resolved by the team include:

•    The Mau Mau claims | Leigh Day

•    Camellia PLC | Kakuzi | Leigh Day
•    Petra Diamonds Ltd | Leigh Day

The team are currently working on high-profile claims against Volvo on behalf of UK drivers over alleged emissions ‘cheat devices’ (part of the broader Pan-Nox Diesel Emissions Litigation).

Alongside the team’s work on the Volvo claims, the team is also working on claims involving allegations of human rights abuses in Kenya.

About the role
We have an opportunity for an Associate Solicitor with 0-3 years PQE to join the team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly experienced team with an excellent reputation in the field of Corporate Accountability. Candidates with a passion for Access to Justice and desire to work on Corporate Accountability claims are encouraged to apply.
