Lawyers investigating allegations of abuse and neglect at Wentworth Croft

Abuse lawyers are investigating allegations of institutional abuse and neglect

21 October 2016

Specialist abuse lawyers at Leigh Day are currently investigating allegations of institutional abuse and neglect at Wentworth Croft Residential and Nursing Home, Peterborough, a home run by BUPA for vulnerable people who require nursing and / or personal care.

This follows an unannounced CQC inspection in April 2016, which found concerns in two of the four houses: Yeoman House (which provides nursing care) and Harvester House (which provides dementia care). The CQC report, published in May 2016, rated the service overall inadequate, with failings identified in several areas including safety, care and leadership.

If you have been directly affected by this issue, in particular if you are a relative of a resident or a witness to care at Wentworth Croft, our specialist abuse team would like to hear from you.
