Abuse
Leigh Day & Co has represented a number of clients who are seeking compensation after being abused.
Leigh Day & Co has represented many clients who are seeking compensation following physical, or mental abuse, the results of which will be either psychiatric injury, by way of trauma, or physical injury - the effects of which have at some time been visible. Abuse can occur in many situations. We have acted for adults abused as children in children's homes or foster care placements - and also children currently in placements. We have acted for the learning disabled and the mentally ill who have suffered abuse at the hands of their carers or clinicians.
