Carbon monoxide
If you are exposed to carbon monoxide poisoning you may be able to make a claim for compensation for the injuries which you have suffered, your pain and suffering and also your financial losses. These may include loss of earnings from your inability to work for a period, the costs of counselling or behavioural training in coping strategies, and the costs of care which you need or assistance with organising yourself.
If your close relative has been killed as a result of exposure to carbon monoxide you may have a claim for compensation for bereavement and for loss of family income arising from the death. There is a rule that for an injury you must begin your legal claim at Court within three years of the development of the injury or within three years of your knowledge of your injury (which ever is the latest). This is called limitation and if you have any doubt about when the three-year period is likely to expire you should get legal help without delay.
Our lawyers can help you with a carbon monoxide poisoning claim and have successfully represented people who have suffered injury in this way.
