Penny joined Leigh Day in 2007 and is head of the cycling and sports injuries team, which acts for sportsmen and women including members of British Cycling and the British Triathlon Association.

Penny is a member of the Law Society's Personal Injury Panel and a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. She has worked exclusively in the field of claimant personal injury law for 15 years acting for injured claimants in high value, complex claims including fatalities, head and spinal injuries. She has a particular interest in how claims can be managed to ensure that the injured person receives appropriate, timely treatment and care to avoid the claims process adding to the injuries sustained.

Penny is an accredited mediator.
