Henry Dyson's Profile Picture
Henry Dyson is a 'careful and compassionate' lawyer with a particular focus on cardiology and neurosurgery cases. – Chambers guide to the legal profession 2012

Henry specialises in the claimant clinical negligence field.  He handles cases of serious injury resulting from a wide vaiety of medical and surgical errors from all parts of the health service, both NHS and private.

He is particularly interested in cardiology and neurosurgery cases.  He often represents families at inquests following deaths after medical intervention.

He has recently dealt with cases involving brain injuries caused, in one case, by removal of a catheter into the jugular vein and, in another, by accepted mismanagement of a patient's anticoagulation medication. Other cases involved late diagnosis of spinal TB infection resulting in paraplegia where again liability is accepted.  Another settled case involved a mismanaged gynaecological procedure that resulted in bowel infection and the loss of a kidney.

Henry has a degree in biochemistry which he followed with CPE and LPC.  He qualified as a solicitor in 1989 and was made a partner in 1998.

He is a member of the Medico-Legal Society and a Law Society clinical negligence panel member.
