Tina joined Leigh Day as a solicitor in the specialist product liability team, part of the firm’s international and group claims department in October 2011.
Tina read law at Nottingham Trent University and completed her Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School. Tina completed her training contact with Elliot Mather LLP Solicitors in Derbyshire and qualified in May 2010. Tina has represented claimants who have suffered personal injuries as a result of non-fault accidents at work, RTAs, criminal injuries, public liability and product liability claims including claims against The Home Retail Group in the high profile ‘Toxic Sofa’ claims and against Microsoft for supply of a faulty Xbox 360 causing an electric shock to an eight year old boy. Tina also has extensive experience of fast track and multi track trials in both the County Court and High Court having successfully represented claimants in a variety of civil matters.
Tina assists Bozena Michalowska-Howells in representing over 700 UK claimants who have suffered considerably as a result of being implanted with metal on metal hip components in the high-profile DePuy ASR and Pinnacle hip claims. Tina is also currently investigating the Finsbury ADEPT 12/14 Modula Head which is the subject of a Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) Medical Device Alert.
Tina is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
