Rebecca Davis is a solicitor working with Nicola Wainwright in the clinical negligence department.

Rebecca joined Leigh Day in September 2009 and trained in the human rights and clinical negligence departments before qualifying as a solicitor in September 2011.

Rebecca assists Nicola Wainwright in a wide range of cases involving clinical negligence, including cases arising from psychiatric treatment, gynaecological procedures affecting women’s fertility and birth injuries affecting mothers and children. Rebecca has a particular interest in coronial law and has assisted families who have lost relatives due to negligence in preparing for Inquests. She has also acted in cases involving access to medical treatment when this has been denied.

Rebecca has experience in educational law and recently assisted a parent of a child with severe cerebral palsy in successful appeal to the First-tier Tribunal to secure a special residential educational placement for her son.  

Rebecca graduated with a first in History from Edinburgh University prior to training as a solicitor.
