James Harrison

As IT Director, James is responsible for the IT strategy and the delivery of IT services throughout the firm.  He works closely with the Managing Partner and Senior Management Team to deliver quality and value-driven IT. He leads a first-class, multi-discipled team to deliver an efficient, professional, yet personalised service, to support the firm in its enviable position in the legal market.  He’s established close working relationships with key staff across the firm and acts as a trusted advisor on all IT related matters internally. He’s also instilled a business-focused approach and deployed cost appropriate solutions where possible to obtain the maximum return from investment in IT.

Prior to joining Leigh Day, James decided to take a career break in order to travel. During this break, he travelled extensively around South East Asia, Australasia and South America, where amongst other things, he carried out some conservation work in the Galapagos.  Before this he was IT and Project Manager for a global kids cartoon company, providing IT and project management support to users in five locations globally.
