David Standard

David has helped many people speak out against injustice and works with the media to champion the rights of those injured through no fault of their own.

At Leigh Day he works to ensure that issues are raised in the media and helps clients who either want to speak to the media or need someone to speak on their behalf, maintaining their privacy. David was previously Head of Media Relations for Irwin Mitchell.

Before a serious accident in 1991 stopped his cycling career, he rode on both road and track for the Junior and Senior Great Britain cycling team, captaining several international events including the World Championships.
